7 body odors that can indicate health problems – Steps for Health

In addition to being a sign of bad oral hygiene, a bad breath may also warn of various diseases or infections that may affect the mouth, throat and lungs.
It is common with some body odors, and although many of these can be unpleasant, they play an important role in getting rid of toxic substances in the body and regulating body temperature. But there are also body odors that can be worse and that can warn of chronic health problems, such as infections or cancer.William Hanson, professor of anaesthesiology at University of Pennsylvania, says that many studies have shown that diseases can cause changes in body chemistry. Some of these changes can be detected by observing body odors during a medical evaluation. Having a noticeable body odor that is difficult to neutralize can indicate a possible health problem.

Yeast Odor

Movements are common as long as the color is white without any particular odor. However, if you feel a yeast smell, it may indicate a fungal infection.
Most of the time it occurs in connection with pregnancy, diabetes or antibiotics, and can cause itching and irritation.

Foot odor

Do you have an unbearable smell from your feet that is hard to neutralize? There are many deodorants and other products to solve the problem, but sometimes it does not matter what you do. If you have a strong foot odor, it may indicate bacteria or fungus which, when exposed to the air, emits this unpleasant odor. The problem can occur, for example, in hormonal changes, poor hygiene or nervous problems.

Bad breath

Halitosis can be caused by poor oral hygiene or any type of infection that creates an environment suitable for bacterial growth. This smell can affect the quality of life of the victims and create serious problems for self-esteem.
For example, the reasons may be:

  • Caries
  • Gum disease
  • Lung Infection
  • Throat Infection
  • Fish Odor

A fish smell in the abdomen is often embarrassing and difficult to get rid of if you do not know the cause.

If the smell becomes more intense after intercourse or during menstruation it is very likely that the cause may be bacterial vaginosis, which is a condition that occurs when there are more bad bacteria than good.

Symptoms may be gray secretion, pain and pruritus.

    Poor smell in the armpits

The bacteria that develop in the armpits are the main cause of poor body odor. If you do not have good hygiene and do not use any deodorant this odor can often be exacerbated.

In some cases, however, it may be due to an ailment called bromhidrosis, which has to do with a lack of function in one’s apocrine glands.

    Strong urine odor

The urine has a distinctive smell, as we all know, but when it is strong and unpleasant it should be seen as a sign of disease.

Different reasons for this smell can be:

  • Reaction to any type of drug
  • Consumption of asparagus
  • Kidney or urinary tract disease
  • Urinary infection
  • Diabetes
  • In most cases the urine is also dark yellow and one has a light

    Poor smell in the scalp

The hair bottom can also develop a bad odor and it may have different causes.

Sometimes it may be related to poor hygiene, but not always. If there is an overproduction of the sebaceous glands, it may lead to bad odors and itching and redness.
